YanYan Evan-Jones is originally from China but now lives in England. She is an amateur illustrator who is really interested in surface pattern design and wanted to show her works to a wider audience.
YanYan primarily works with pen and paper, and doesn't sketch anything out in pencil first. She loves the fact that working this way means that there are no second chances; for better or worse you have to be confident and fully committed with your creative vision! She currently draws in black and white illustration style making them perfect for colouring books. YanYan feels they could also have more potential and could be coloured as she is perfectly able to adapt her style to any particular subject matter and would welcome the chance to take on commissions.
